Charlie Luk
Hello there, I majored in graphic design and graduated from OCADU in 2014. I worked at Cieslok Media - an outdoor media company for roughly two years. However, I wanted to create more impact with my work. Therefore, I made a major pivot a few years back and dived into the product design world. The rest is history. Working as a product designer is challenging but I also feel my passion for design grew exponentially with the work I do.
My creative approach is always about experimentation. I believe each project should be approached with a new angle combined with past experience and critical thinking. I love to ask questions and I believe that’s key to create impactful design solutions. It should be thoughtful, accessible and intuitive.
As a designer, I constantly aim to improve my craft by keeping myself up to date with the latest technology and design trends. I am also a huge believer in sharing knowledge and always enjoy socializing with other creative minds such as filmmakers and photographers around the city and learn from their expertise.
